Adrian Altamirano, CIM®, CFP®, FCSI®

Assistant Vice-President, Sales – Ontario

Based out of Toronto, Adrian has upwards of 10 years’ experience in various roles within the financial services industry; predominantly as a financial planner and sales executive. Adrian started his career as an Insurance Advisor with Sun Life Financial in late 2007; was awarded the "Quick Start Award" for exceeding sale expectations. He later spent one year at State Farm developing the go-to-marketing strategy for life insurance before transitioning to BMO Nesbitt Burns becoming one of the youngest Investment Advisors at the firm. In 2012, Adrian explored the distribution channel by managing key relationships in the brokerage community. In late 2015, Adrian accepted a position at PPI Solutions as a Director and most recently in 2018, was promoted to Assistant Vice-President, Sales at PPI. He now leads a team of business development directors and associates with one key mandate, increase the firm’s value to advisors and end-clients through consultative financial planning and business development strategies. Adrian throughout the years has achieved a number of industry designations including Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) in 2012, Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) in 2016 and In 2017, Adrian achieved his fellowship with CSI (FCSI®) which is the highest honour and most senior credential with the Canadian Securities Institute.

Robert Aggio, CLU, CHFC

Vice-President, Sales – Ontario

Bob has over 30 years’ experience in the financial services industry beginning his career as an insurance advisor. He quickly moved into sales management and then began his corporate career when he joined Transamerica Life in 1990. Seven years later, Bob joined Canada Trust and helped build the life insurance division, CT Financial Assurance. As Vice-President, Sales he led the sales and product teams until TD bought Canada Trust in 2000. Bob then took on the role of Vice President, Wealth Protection and led the national team of Insurance Specialists within TD Waterhouse. Bob then rejoined Transamerica as Vice President, Sales, National Accounts and within five years headed up all of Independent Distribution (MGA and National Accounts) and the national Sales team. In March 2012, Bob joined PPI Solutions as Vice President, Sales, Ontario Division. Bob’s mandate is to increase the region’s overall production by providing PPI advisors with the expertise and solutions they need to build their practice.
