Here's what to expect as you begin your course of study:

How to register for a course
Select from our courses or seminars by selecting our Course Calendar and/or enrolment forms and register online or download an enrolment form to send by fax or mail to the administration department:

Online registrants will immediately receive an email confirming receipt registration including an order number to be kept for future reference.

Your student ID
After your registration has been processed, you will receive an email confirmation that includes your Advocis student identification number. You will need to provide this each time you initiate contact with the association.

IMPORTANT: You will need to present your Advocis student identification number, every time you write a paper-based exam. For online students you will need your student identification number to log on.

Course material
Course material will be mailed to you upon enrolment and you can expect to receive it within five to 10 business days, following the processing of your registration.

This applies to both online and paper-based study formats.

Course duration
All Advocis courses must be completed within four months following registration. This applies to both online and paper-based study formats.

Privacy Legislation
As a result of recent rulings and decisions of the Privacy Commission, a member or student must identify and advise Advocis under what circumstances his or her information can be distributed and shared with employers and third party suppliers, if it is to be shared at all. For more information, see the summary of Advocis’ Privacy Policy.
