The Advocis/Foran LLQP is your first step toward getting your provincial Life or Accident & Sickness Insurance license. You must successfully complete the LLQP certification exam in order to be deemed eligible to write the provincial exam.

Advocis's LLQP (full) Certification Exam
Your registration fee includes the Certification Exam (first attempt). This exam is comprised of two 2-hour online exams of 70 questions each. Students must achieve an aggregate score of at least 60% in order to be awarded the required certificate of completion, which must be presented to their provincial regulator when they sit the provincial life licensing exam.
The LLQP A&S covers the five mandatory technical areas: Financial & Industry Overview; Accident & Sickness Insurance (Disability Insurance); Group Insurance; Underwriting, Issue and Claims; Compliance; and Contracts. The study guide includes multiple-choice questions for self-testing purposes.
Advocis's LLQP A&S Certification Exam
Your registration fee includes the Certification Exam (first attempt). This exam is comprised of a two-hour online exam of 45 multiple-choice questions. Students must achieve a minimum of 60% in order to be awarded the required certificate of completion, which must be presented to the provincial regulator when they sit the provincial A&S licensing exam.
