Online LLQP Certification Exam Regulations

LLQP Certificate

Students who pass the certification exam and wish to write the provincial exam must provide a specific certification containing information that will allow the proctor to clearly identify them. Crucial components of the certificate must be gathered in conjunction with the writing of the Advocis certification exam. Each student must sign a certification form in the presence of their manager, or someone holding a CFP®, CLU® and/or CHS™ designation who will witness the signing. The student will also be required to identify and declare specifically what kind of identification he or she will present to the provincial proctor when appearing for the provincial exam.

The stipulated documentation must include one piece of photo identification accompanied by a full legal signature, and a second piece bearing the student's full legal signature.

Once students successfully complete the Advocis online certification exam, they will be able to print the certificate completion form from their Advocis education profile.

LLQP Insurance License Provincial Exam

Successful students are required to register to write the provincial exam with their provincial authority within one year of certification. When attending the provincial exam session, students will be allowed to take the exam only if the proctor has received an original certificate that contains all of the required information necessary to admit the student to the provincial exam.

Students get multiple chances to pass the Life Insurance License provincial exam within one year of passing the certification exam. A fourth attempt can be made, but only after six months have elapsed since the third attempt. Each subsequent attempt will require another six–month wait.

Advocis will continue to make every effort to provide frequent and convenient exam opportunities as required by our local participants.
