How to register for a course

Select from our courses or seminars by selecting our Course Calendar and/or enrolment forms, and register online or download an enrolment form to send by fax or mail to the administration department:

Online registrants will immediately receive an email confirming receipt of their registration, including an order number to be kept for future reference.

Your student ID

After your registration has been processed, you will receive an email confirmation that includes your Advocis student identification number. You will need to provide this each time you initiate contact with the association.

IMPORTANT: You will need to present your Advocis student identification number every time you write a paper-based exam. Online students will need their student identification number to log on.

Course material

Students not enrolled in the online LLQP or any other Advocis courses will be mailed their course material upon enrolment, and can expect to receive it within five to 10 business days once your registration has been processed.

Course Access new online LLQP only

Students enrolled in the NEW online LLQP will receive an email confirmation of their registration, and within two business days will receive access to the online content.

Course duration

Most Advocis courses must be completed within four months following registration.

The LLQP course must be completed within eight months of registration.

Course 237 Advanced Estate Planning and course 245 Capstone Course are offered on a semester basis twice a year.

Privacy legislation

As a result of recent rulings and decisions of the Privacy Commission, a member or student must advise Advocis as to the circumstances under which his or her information can be distributed and shared with employers and third-party suppliers, if it is to be shared at all. For more information, see the summary of Advocis’ Privacy Policy.
