Step 1: Once you are registered in the LLQP program, Advocis will invite you to register for Canadian Insurance Participant Registry (CIPR).
Step 2: Complete the CIPR registration. Please note that it is very important that you accept and complete the CIPR registration as we can only grant you online content access upon verification of your CIPR registration.
Step 3: Once you have completed the CIPR registration process you will be given access to the Advocis Online Learning Environment (ALE) where you can access the LLQP modules. However, keep in mind that once you are in the ALE, you first need to complete the Identity Verification Questionnaire for each module (see Launch the Orientation) to access the module content. Failure to complete this step will result in error messages.
The duration of the LLQP online course is one year from the date of purchase. Your access to the online content, PDFs, addenda, Practice Exam Tool, chapter quizzes, live and recorded webinars, and SeeWhy Learning Study Tools expires one year from the date you purchase the LLQP course.
Advocis offers live and recorded webinars, SeeWhy Learning Study Tools and practice exams to help you prepare for your provincial exams. For more details, please see the Resources section of the LLQP module in the Advocis Learning Environment (ALE).
The duration of the LLQP online course is one year from the date of purchase. Your access to the online content, PDFs, addenda, Practice Exam Tool, chapter quizzes, live and recorded webinars, flash cards, and SeeWhy Learning Videos expires one year from the date you purchase the LLQP course.
Advocis offers specific modules such as Ethics and Professional Practice separately. The duration of this module is 120 days.
Each exam module is offered online with 24/7 access. You can activate the exams when you’re ready, at a time convenient to you within the one-year course timeframe.
If you do not complete all your exams within the one-year term, you are required to retake the course at full fee.
Once you have passed all of the certification exams within the program, Advocis will update your education profile. We will also update your CIPR profile confirming your certification eligibility to write the provincial exams. When you register to write the provincial examinations, you will be asked to provide your CIPR number which will show your updated CIPR profile. This confirms you are eligible to write the provincial examinations.
If you have a question regarding the provincial exams, please contact the exam center in your province. For a listing of exam centers.
There are two ways to let us know you need help with the LLQP material:
Please remember to include your Advocis ID and name of the module you need assistance with.
Yes, you will write a certification exam for each of the four (4) LLQP modules (four exams in total).
