Advocis Education FAQ

You can register online using the online enrolment form. Once your registration has been processed, you will receive a confirmation email containing information regarding your registration.

Advocis students can rest assured that the security for our site is very strong with 128-bit encryption, and that their personal information is safe.

In addition, as a result of recent rulings and decisions made by the Privacy Commission, a member or student must advise Advocis of the circumstances under which their information can be distributed to and shared with employers and third-party suppliers, if it is to be shared at all. Any Advocis member in good standing is eligible to receive member pricing when signing-up for a program that offers this benefit.

Payments can be made by VISA, MasterCard and, American Express. You’ll need to provide both your card number and its expiry date. Applications will only be processed once full payment is received.

Online access to your course and materials will be available within 5 business days after your registration has been processed.

The Advocis Appeals Policy allows candidates to request a re-mark of their assignment or exam if they believe their result is not accurate. The policy applies to narrative response assessments only; therefore, only appeals for CLU 257 assessments will be considered. Only candidates with a “Fail” result can request a re-mark. Re-mark request must be requested within 4 weeks following the release of result.

You may only take a module or course once per year for it to be counted towards your Institute Designation CE requirements. Check with your regulatory body for specific rules.

If you need technical assistance related to a specific course, please contact elearning@advocis.ca. If you require general technical support including issues with your browser, camera, connection, or other system issues contact your IT service provider. Advocis is unable to assist with system related issues. For users outside of Canada experiencing difficulties accessing the Advocis Learning Environment (ALE), consider using a VPN product that allows you to set your country to Canada or consulting with your IT provider for support. Please note that access to the Advocis website and Learning Environment may be restricted to users outside Canada for security reasons.
