Home Update 2022 National Webinar – FAQ
Note: Individuals who register for a seminar event receive complimentary online access to the Advanced Learning Modules and can obtain additional CE Credits upon successful completion of each module.
How do I login to the webinar?
Three days prior to the webinar, you will receive an email (as per the email address provided in your registration) with login information and important details regarding the webinar. If you do not receive the email 24 hours prior to the event, please contact Advocis Events at events@advocis.ca for assistance.
What can I expect during the webinar?
As Update 2022 is a very interactive seminar, in addition to viewing the presentations, you will be required to participate in online breakout group case study discussions.
Will I earn CE credits?
Yes. You will receive 6 CE credits for attending the webinar and actively participating in the breakout group discussions. You can also earn up to an additional 8 CE credits upon completion of the 4 online self-study segments (optional) available to you with your webinar registration.
What is the cancellation policy?
If you are not able to attend, you have up to November 30th, 2022 to cancel and get a partial refund. To cancel, please contact Events at events@advocis.ca.
I already attended an Update 2022 Seminar with my local chapter. Can I attend the webinar?
The content is the same for both the seminar and the webinar. While participants attending both may find value by revisiting the course content, CE credits can only be granted for attending Update 2022 once in 2022.
What are the Self-Study Segments?

I have registered for an upcoming Update 2022 Seminar with my local chapter. Can I transfer to the webinar?
Update 2022 Seminar is a distinct program from Update 2022 National Webinar and therefore are not transferable.
I purchased a passport through my local chapter. Is the Update 2022 Webinar included in this passport?
Individual chapters administer passports and only include events from that specific chapter. As a result, the Update 2022 Webinar is not included in chapter passports.
What are the technical requirements to participate?
A strong internet connection – hardwired or a strong wifi signal with a minimum download speed of 10 Mbps.
