Terms and Conditions of Media Participation for Advocis Members

Although you are an Advocis member or affiliate, and although Advocis has referred you for a media opportunity, it is important to understand that you are participating in any interviews on behalf of yourself and your company, and not on behalf of Advocis itself.

The views and opinions expressed in the interview are those of yourself, and do not necessarily reflect the official policy or position of Advocis. While we encourage you to mention that you are an Advocis member and to make reference to resources from our website or other official Advocis sources during your interview, please recognize that you are not conducting the interview on behalf of the Association.

You are responsible for the opinions and views you express during the interview. Advocis won’t be held accountable for the accuracy, completeness, correctness, suitability or validity of any information given during the interview process.

Additionally, your thoughts and opinions may not always be the same as those of Advocis, its corporate partners and affiliates, or any of their respective directors, executive management, employees, staff or other personnel. Advocis reserves the right to deny any comment you may make that does not correspond to the position of the Association at any point.

By submitting content (defined as materials, advice, representations, opinions and views) to any news outlets, blogs or platforms, you understand and acknowledge that the content is available to the public and that you are allowing its audience to have a permanent right to use your content for business purposes including but not limited to internal and external promotions. This could include using, republishing, reproducing, distributing, changing or displaying the content across other websites without restriction from time of submission in perpetuity.
