The Certified Financial Planner designation provides peace of mind to Canadians that the structure of their financial future is built with a professional who will put their clients’ interests ahead of their own. CFP professionals can meet their clients’ needs and the evolving requirements of the financial services industry. Advocis is an FP Canada™-approved learning provider for both the CFP and the Qualified Associate Financial Planner™ (QAFP®) certification.
Once the Financial Planning Fundamentals Program (CFP Pre-requisite course) has been completed, you must complete the Advocis Advanced Curriculum program (course 923) if you wish to pursue the CFP designation.
Advocis also offers three separate courses to help prepare you for the final CFP exam.
CFP is a designation governed and overseen by FP Canada™.
The requirements to earn the CFP designation are:
• Completion of FP Canada-approved program such as the Core Curriculum Program for CFP Certification and the Advanced Curriculum Program for CFP Certification.
• Satisfaction of CFP Certification requirements with FP Canada;
• Successful completion of CFP examination;
The Advocis program, which was developed in conjunction with leading educational training consultants, derives its material from the CFP syllabus as outlined by the FP Canada.
