Life License Qualification Program (LLQP)

Advocis is an approved course provider for the Life License Qualification Program (LLQP). Our online self-study program provides you with the foundational knowledge and skills needed to help you succeed on the provincial / territorial licensing exams. While the regulator’s manuals form the core of our program, your learning is enhanced through our live classroom sessions, videos, case studies, and practice exam tools.

The Advocis LLQP will cover four distinct areas to prepare you for your provincial exams:

Life Insurance
Accident & Sickness Insurance
Segregated Funds & Annuities
Ethics & Professional Practice

Program Structure

The Advocis LLQP is a self-study online learning program with four proctored certification exams. You are, however, not alone in your studies. We provide you with regular on-line webinars and the webinars are recorded in the event your schedule does not allow you to participate in the live webinar. We also offer a bi-weekly review session where you can get your questions answered by our bilingual instructor.

The LLQP program itself consists of four modules (one of which is an ethics module). Each module has a corresponding modular certification exam. These exams must be completed with a minimum mark of 60%. Once ALL of the certification exams have been successfully completed, you will be eligible to take the corresponding four provincial exams to obtain your life insurance license.

The registration fee is $395 + applicable taxes and you have access to the course materials and study tools for one (1) year after the date of your registration.
