Life License Qualification Program - Accident and Sickness (LLQP - A&S)

Advocis is an approved course provider for the Life License Qualification Program – Accident & Sickness (LLQP – A&S) program. Our online self-study program provides you with the foundational knowledge and skills needed to help you succeed on the provincial / territorial licensing exams. While the regulator’s manuals form the core of our program, your learning is enhanced through  videos, case studies, and practice exam tools.

The LLQP – A&S program will teach you how to:

  • Assess the client’s needs and situation.
  • Analyze the available life insurance products that meet the client’s needs.
  • Assess the impact of underwriting criteria as they apply to the client’s situation.
  • Implement a recommendation adapted to the client’s needs and situation.

The Advocis LLQP – A&S is a self-study online learning program with two proctored certification exams. 

The LLQP – A&S program itself consists of two modules (one of which is an ethics module). Each module has a corresponding modular certification exam. These exams must be completed with a minimum mark of 60%. Once ALL of the certification exams have been successfully completed, you will be eligible to take the corresponding two provincial exams to obtain your accident & sickness.

The program begins with an orientation webinar that will help you become familiar with the Advocis Learning Environment (ALE), module expectations, and where to get help with the course. Your additional LLQP – A&S study resources include:
