Life License Qualification Program - Accident and Sickness (LLQP - A&S)

Advocis is an approved course provider for the Life License Qualification Program – Accident & Sickness (LLQP – A&S) program. Our online self-study program provides you with the foundational knowledge and skills needed to help you succeed on the provincial / territorial licensing exams. While the regulator’s manuals form the core of our program, your learning is enhanced through our live classroom sessions, videos, case studies, and practice exam tools.

The LLQP – A&S program will teach you how to:

  • Assess the client’s needs and situation.
  • Analyze the available life insurance products that meet the client’s needs.
  • Assess the impact of underwriting criteria as they apply to the client’s situation.
  • Implement a recommendation adapted to the client’s needs and situation.

The Advocis LLQP – A&S is a self-study online learning program with two proctored certification exams. You are, however, not alone in your studies. We provide you with regular on-line webinars and the webinars are recorded in the event your schedule does not allow you to participate in the live webinar. We also offer a bi-weekly review session where you can get your questions answered by our bilingual instructor.

You also have access to our bilingual instructor and industry Subject Matter Experts by email or through the Discussion Forums.

The LLQP – A&S program itself consists of two modules (one of which is an ethics module). Each module has a corresponding modular certification exam. These exams must be completed with a minimum mark of 60%. Once ALL of the certification exams have been successfully completed, you will be eligible to take the corresponding four provincial exams to obtain your life insurance license.

The program begins with an orientation webinar that will help you become familiar with the Advocis Learning Environment (ALE), module expectations, and where to get help with the course. Your additional LLQP – A&S study resources include:

  • •   Practice Exam tool
  • •   Track of your development with the Class Progress tool
  • •   Chapter quizzes
  • •   Comprehensive glossary of insurance terms
  • •   Case studies that offer practical application
  • •   PDF version of course content
  • •   ReadSpeaker text-to-speech tool
  • •   Full suite of SeeWhy Learning Study Tools
  • •  Access to Subject Matter Experts for module-related questions

The registration fee is $195 + applicable taxes and you have access to the course materials and study tools for one (1) year after the date of your registration.
