QAFP certification demonstrates a financial planner’s competence and commitment to the highest ethical standards of responsibility. The first step toward earning your Qualified Associate Financial Planner (QAFP) designation is to complete the Advocis Financial Planning Fundamentals Program (QAFP Pre-requisite course). QAFP designation candidates must then complete two educational course offered only through FP Canada.

• Completion of the Advocis Financial Planning Fundamentals program.
• Enroll in and complete the QAFP Professional Education Program offered by FP Canada.
• Register for and write the four-hour, computer-based QAFP exam through FP Canada.
• Apply for the QAFP Certification through FP Canada.
