Note: Individuals who register for a Chapter seminar event receive complimentary online access to the Advanced Learning Modules and can obtain additional CE Credits upon successful completion of all four  modules.

What is the format of the CLU Update 2024 Advanced Learning Modules?Each module includes a series of required readings, which complement the learning from the seminar presentations. Once you have registered for the seminar, you will be able to access the modules online via your Dashboard. The online environment gives you access to the required readings for each of the four modules and allows you to complete the final quiz. You will get CE for successful completion of the final quiz.

Do I have to complete the CLU Update 2024 seminar before completing any of the Advanced Learning Modules?

No. The two programs are completely independent of one another. You do not have to complete the Advanced Learning Modules.However, if you decide to complete both the seminar and the Advanced Learning Modules you will earn 14 CE credits.

How much time do I have to complete the Advanced Learning Modules?
You have until March 31, 2025 to complete any or all of the Advanced Learning Modules.Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate extensions past this date.

Approximately, how long will it take to complete the Advanced Learning Modules?
The Advanced Learning Modules will take about 8 hours to
complete between the readings and the
 
quiz.

 

How do I access the Advanced Learning Modules?

  • Login at advocis.ca with your Advocis ID
  • From your Advocis Dashboard Page select CLU Update 2024 listed in your Continuing Education (CE) Programs section
  • Once you click on CLU Update 2024, you will see the modules listed; select the one you would like to review/complete
  • Once you select the module, you will see the required readings (PDF) and a link to complete the quiz

How many attempts do I have to pass the quizzes?
There is no time limit on the quiz, and you have unlimited attempts.

What is the passing grade for the quizzes?
The passing grade for the quiz is 60% or higher. If you do not obtain a grade of 60% or higher, you may take the quiz again. Once you have achieved a minimum grade of 60%, you will receive CE.

How do I claim my CE credits?

  • Login at advocis.ca with your Advocis ID
  • From your Advocis Dashboard Page, select CLU Update 2024 listed in your Continuing Education (CE) Programs section
  • Select the module you completed
  • On the left hand side of your screen, you will see “Links”. Click on “Print CE Certificate” to access the CE Credit Tracking page where you will be able to print your certificate
